We got lychee rosewater raspberry and matcha jasmine soba. The lychee flavour tasted like real lychee, unlike other food items you can find at other places where everything tastes the same. Was so creamy and refreshing. The matcha flavour was not too sweet and had a slight note of bitterness, which I loved, and the buckwheat bits in the ice cream were a nice touch. Would love to go back but would not be able to decide if I should try new flavour or get the same ones we tried because they were just too good ><

We checked out Liu Loqum Atelier for their Turkish Tea, Turkish Nougats, and Turkish Halva. The Turkish tea was awesome. Would definitely recommend. The Turkish nougats that we tried were Apple Milk Covered by Cinnamon Nougat, Pommegranate And Pistachio Nougat and Hazelnut Fudge Nougat. All were soft, chewy and delicious. Our favourite was the Hazelnut Fudge Nougat. The Turkish Halva which is made from tahini (ground sesame) was interesting. We tried the Vanilla and Pistachio Halva and they were okay. The flavour was unique and were a bit on the salty side. If you are adventurous, would suggest to try it out.

We just dined at Mirage with our friends and we all enjoyed it very much. The restaurant atmosphere is beautiful, with many ethnic accents. Found Mirazu when I was craving Middle Eastern Breakfast. When you first walk in you see the Saj table, and a woman making freshly baked bread, immediately sets the vibe to the place, they welcome you with free cup of tea, and what made more sense to order for two people was their already planned meal package. Which will fill your table, eyes and stomach. So many options to mix and match the heavy Turkish vibe, with the most iconic people on the wall when you first walk in, Very clean and very friendly staff. Also service was amazing. My Turkish hubby and me (a big fan of Turkish food) approve The lahmacun was amazing (really like in Türkiye!), the beef döner was veeery good, the baklava nice (interestingly it was served hot) and the tea was a perfect ending to the dinner. The staff was very welcoming and nice (spoke English, too), the chef very nice (originally from Türkiye), the ambience nice, all was clean, orderly and nice. Really recommend this place.

Stopped by this place pre-concert at the Opera House. Such a gem! Had the beef doner plate, which was packed with an assortment of food. The beef was cooked just right - some texture but not too chewy (imagine steak shredded). Packing each bite with some rice, beef, and veggies made it even better. So filling and worth it for its price. My friend had the chicken doner plate and it was just as good. Chicken was so tender. We were served a starter and some tea as well. Super attentive service. It was our first visit to this new restaurant on the Danforth and it was their grand opening weekend with $5.99 beef or chicken doner wrap specials. I got one of each and both were so delicious! These were Turkish style doners and had unique flavours and spices. I loved the crispy look of the wraps and the delicious red sauce. The beef and chicken were fresh and juicy. We went at 12noon lunch time on a Friday and it wasn’t busy. We got a seat easily. The staff was friendly and I loved the painted mural of the history of the Turkish culture. Definitely will be back!

This burger palace is amazing! The burgers are fresh and full of flavors. I am all about the O.Z Burger with extra pickles. The fries and onion rings are perfect! I get extra "Z Sauce" for dipping. To top it all of, the staff are very friendly.

I’ve loved this place for a long time, and although I felt like their quality and service dipped a little bit during and right after Covid, it’s clear after returning last week that they are back on their stride! Steak was fantastic, they made the biggest table side Caesar I’ve ever seen them make since there was 3 of us sharing 1 which was really nice! Steak tartare was phenomenal, and we also had the onions and pasta which were both great too. If you’ve got a special occasion, you can’t go wrong dining here. Still one of my favorite steakhouses in the world.

It’s expensive but on occasions it’s nice to be able to dine at a place like Jacob’s What I like about the steaks is the tell you what farm they come from, for the most part. The accompaniments(duck fat fries, potatoes gratin, risotto) are worth the price to pay considering the time it would take to make them. The bread is great, they explain all the different steaks and the spacing between tables was good. If we could of lessened the drinks the bill would of been a little better but what are you going to do when the booze start to flow bill was close to 1000 for four people

We went for dinner on Saturday night to celebrate a birthday! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! We had a fabulous experience from start to finish. The food was delicious and plentiful. The service was fantastic. Our servers were friendly and knowledgeable. They make you feel like you’re the most important person in the place. The manager (owner?) even came by to wish our friend happy birthday. One of our friends doesn’t eat meat and he had the sea bass. It was great. He loved it. The mushroom risotto is made with mushroom broth and not chicken broth so he could have that too and it was amazing. The Caesar salad is incredible and we tried the beet salad and it was the best beet salad we’ve ever had. Our steaks melted in our mouths. There isn’t a better steak in Toronto. We really can’t wait to go back.

Great experience at Blue Bloods steakhouse. We loved the view sitting on the patio. Perfect romantic dinner for couples. We loved the cheese biscuits, and portions were fair. Came here for Mother’s Day Brunch. Super cute they gave us roses on arrival. Had high tea with many different types of food on a 3 tier. My husband and I wanted to celebrate his birthday at STK. Always wanted to try in Orlando, but we never did until we noticed it was open in Toronto. The atmosphere, the food and service were all wonderful. We did the steak night menu and are happy we did.

Everything about this tiny steakhouse is amazing. From J himself greeting you at the door. To the two people that bring the desserts out at the end for you to chose from. Love the idea of no menu and you get what they’ve got. Because the food was perfect.

This place is a must-visit! The service here was excellent! I was blown away by the food; they serve exceptional steak cooked to perfection. My medium-well steak was exactly how I like it, accompanied by a delicious side sauce and unlimited fries. As a delightful surprise, they also offer cute macarons. Plus, we indulged in a decadent chocolate mousse, which was incredibly rich and satisfying.

Overall, great dining experience. I got the, cheese bread, French Onion Soup, crab cake, beef wellington, loaded baked potato, and the banana foster. Everything was delicious! Chairs were very comfortable but the lightning is a bit too dim.

Loved Hy’s. First time I had been. Food was great. Steak au Poivre was excellent, big chunks of pepper, well cooked, beautiful mashed potatoes. Had a lovely Spanish wine selected by the Sommelier, Lisa. Can’t say enough good things about the experience. Perfect for a date or before/after an event.
