Had my first tattoo in here with the artist Hailey. It is a very small one word-tattoo on my hip area. It was a delicate work, I like the result. The price was 140, but I wanted to be confident in the artist and I believe it is a reasonable price. They have also offered me a free touch up, and Hailey would make her recommendations, she is patient, thoughtful, gave me after-care tips. The location of this place is good too, downtown area. And the atmosphere was okay, they play music, have their art works, cozy.

Today I had probably the best tattoo experience I have ever had. I had an appointment with Amanda (@amandajane.tattoos), and from before the appointment until I left, she went above and beyond. 2 days before she sent a sketch of my custom that blew me away. When I arrived she offered me water or Gatorade. I had small adjustments I wanted to make to the design and she switched things up super quickly. She then took her time and care to ensure the stencil was placed perfectly. The actual tattooing was a breeze, she made sure to check in throughout to ensure I was comfortable, and took breaks when we needed to. We had wonderful conversations about everything from sailor moon to the evils of capitalism, but she also respected moments when I needed silence. I am blown away by her work and the whole experience. The small details like bandaids in all skin tones in the washroom, multiple email reminders to ensure I had all the details beforehand, and so much more made this truly a one of a kind experience. This is the perfect shop for your first or fiftieth tattoo, and it is what all other shops should aspire to be.
