Stopped by this place pre-concert at the Opera House. Such a gem! Had the beef doner plate, which was packed with an assortment of food. The beef was cooked just right - some texture but not too chewy (imagine steak shredded). Packing each bite with some rice, beef, and veggies made it even better. So filling and worth it for its price. My friend had the chicken doner plate and it was just as good. Chicken was so tender. We were served a starter and some tea as well. Super attentive service. It was our first visit to this new restaurant on the Danforth and it was their grand opening weekend with $5.99 beef or chicken doner wrap specials. I got one of each and both were so delicious! These were Turkish style doners and had unique flavours and spices. I loved the crispy look of the wraps and the delicious red sauce. The beef and chicken were fresh and juicy. We went at 12noon lunch time on a Friday and it wasn’t busy. We got a seat easily. The staff was friendly and I loved the painted mural of the history of the Turkish culture. Definitely will be back!

It's a nice shop, and everyone I interacted with was very kind. The tattoo itself looks amazing (I've gotten a ton of compliments on the shading). It's a piece on my forearm that took a little under four hours, and Sheldon was super cool to sit with through the whole process. He took his time to make sure the tattoo was lined up perfectly, and the size I wanted, along with explaining the best way to position the tattoo, considering movement of my arm. Highly reccomend his work if you're looking for your next tattoo. I also got some piercings here years ago and had an amazing experience with the shop, so it's a good choice for whatever you're looking to get done 🙂

I got a vertical labret piercing from Alexis I’ve been wanting this piercing since I was 16 and was told from a different place that they didn’t have the tool to do it, this was like 20 years ago and I kind of just give up on the ideal until now and I am quite happy with the whole experience Alexis was amazing she numb me up so I only felt a light poke and my lip did not swell up like I expected. Today I had probably the best tattoo experience I have ever had. I had an appointment with Amanda (@amandajane.tattoos), and from before the appointment until I left, she went above and beyond. 2 days before she sent a sketch of my custom that blew me away. When I arrived she offered me water or Gatorade. I had small adjustments I wanted to make to the design and she switched things up super quickly. She then took her time and care to ensure the stencil was placed perfectly. The actual tattooing was a breeze, she made sure to check in throughout to ensure I was comfortable, and took breaks when we needed to. We had wonderful conversations about everything from sailor moon to the evils of capitalism, but she also respected moments when I needed silence. I am blown away by her work and the whole experience. The small details like bandaids in all skin tones in the washroom, multiple email reminders to ensure I had all the details beforehand, and so much more made this truly a one of a kind experience. This is the perfect shop for your first or fiftieth tattoo, and it is what all other shops should aspire to be.

I recently had a piercing go wrong from another shop and needed help getting it removed. I called this store and spoke with Stephanie at the front desk. She was incredibly kind and helpful over the phone, providing clear instructions on how I might be able to remove it myself. She also offered the option to come into their store, where they could remove it for a minimal fee. Despite the fact that I didn’t get the piercing done at their store, Stephanie treated me with great care and support throughout the entire process. Her professionalism and compassion made a stressful situation much easier to handle. If you ever need any help or advice, Stephanie is the person to go to! Highly recommend this place for their outstanding customer service.
