True North Climbing
True North is a climbing gym with 15,000 square feet of climbing terrain. Facility features include 80 top-rope routes, 15 lead-only routes, 12 auto-belay stations, over 100 boulder problems and two slacklines.
The best thing about True North Climbing is that it’s spacious, and all routes are colour-coded. You will enjoy having lots of space while climbing. True North has the most space compared to the other downtown climbing gyms. If space is essential for you, you can’t go wrong by choosing True North. The staff is amiable and helpful. You can take the lead test directly without making an appointment; that’s a big plus, in my opinion.
Types of climbing options: Top-Rope, Lead Climbing, Bouldering, Auto-belays.

This is the best gym in Toronto by far. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The setting is perfect on both bouldering and routes. Setters are always asking for feedback on whether the grades are right. The gym is very well-maintained. The only issue is the location is not easily accessible by TTC. |
